Leaks and Repairs

When the roof is leaking now or appears to have serious problems, it’s imperative to call a roofing company you can trust to fix the leak or other problems quickly and competently.

Raindrop Roofing can be on site within 24 hours after your first call 7 days per week.

Our first priority: Respond quickly and prevent further damage. Homeowners who call sooner rather than later have a greater chance of salvaging their current roof and minimizing damage to ceilings, walls, furniture, and personal items.

Our next step: Conduct a rigorous inspection and determine how and where damage, rot, or age has compromised your roof. We search for moisture spots on ceilings, discoloration, loose wallpaper, peeling paint, and the smell of dampness from the roof down into your home’s interior. We catalog what we find and will be happy to share the digital photos with you.

If your roof is under warranty, you will probably need to notify the manufacturer within 72 hours. Raindrop Roofing Northwest is certified to do warranty work for several manufacturers.

Not every leaky or damaged roof needs to be replaced. Often, we suggest targeted repairs that extend the life of your current roof. Since we have over 27 years local experience with roofs exposed to Oregon and Washington weather, we can estimate your roof’s life expectancy after repairs so you can make an informed decision about repairs or replacement.

Calling is the best way to reach us for immediate leaks or critical repairs. Contact, email, or call to schedule a free evaluation of non-emergency issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do after I find a leak?

Before our roofing team arrives, we suggest:

  • Moving paintings, furniture, or other items that could be damaged by water;
  • Taping plastic (such as garbage bag) to the floor or wall where moisture is seeping in to divert the water; and
  • Placing a bucket underneath the leak to catch falling water.
  • Poke a small hole in the ceiling if its bulging with water to drain it into a bucket
  • Unplug and/or move electrical appliances

If you have any questions please contact us, we’re happy to help you out.
